TRADITIONALLY,
getting a business degree from a business school or university required a person to have specific educational credits, and a lot of money and time they could invest.
As busy, life-experienced Vancouver Islanders 50+ we know full well the importance of wisely spending our hard earned money, and of purposely investing our increasingly valuable time.
During the past 50 years we have lived through the steadily developing Information Age, and each of us, in our own ways, have used our learning abilities to adapt to the multiple changes that this Age has created around us. Now, we need to once again use our learning abilities to adapt to the new tsunami of Digital Intelligence Age with its rapidly speeding advancements and the multiple profound uncertainties that it is creating in its wake.
Today, rapid change in technological advances have opened up unlimited entrepreneurial opportunities. It has also given us Villagers the real ability to acquire a relevant and useable business education in a short amount of time at minimal cost.
It also allows us to integrate our experiences, skills and resources with these new technologies and tools to create successful businesses we only dreamed of before.
